So You Think Being An Atheist Is Cool? Part 1

We often hear people say that science disputes religion. That science is to Evolution as The Bible is to Religion. The fact of this matter is that that is terribly wrong. We are just so uneducated in such areas that we automatically believe what these supposed great minds say. Allow me to explain:

First and foremost, science itself came into being by Christians. It was developed by European Christians who thought that God had created an orderly universe. If it was anything else, we shouldn't expect order within nature, like if it was just a random set of events that brought everything to be the way it is today.

Secondly, science itself means KNOWLEDGE.

Therefore, as long as you have correct knowledge on a subject, it can be considered a science. According to a wide variety of the scientific community, it is believed that science is the systematic method of gaining knowledge about the universe by accepting only Naturalistic or materialistic (more on those later) explanations and causes. So, this part of the scientific community believes that if an idea is unable to be repeated, tested or observed, it is not scientific. And there we can understand the main reason why they will rule out God. And this is despite the actual meaning to science. So, they are already going against what the word stands for.

Naturalism: a belief denying that an event or object has a supernatural significance; specifically, the doctrine that scientific laws are adequate to account for all phenomena.

Materialism: a belief claiming that physical matter is the only or fundamental reality and that all organisms, processes, and phenomena can be explained as manifestations or interactions of matter.
